Kate ODonnell, author of The Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook and Everyday Ayurveda Cooking for a Calm, Clear Mind, has been practicing Ashtanga yoga and Ayurveda for 20 years, and teaching full time for 12 years. An avid interest in the healing powers of food and yoga fuel her work. She is a Boston/Portland-based level II authorized Ashtanga teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner, and lead faculty for The Boston Ayurveda School. Rich Ray is a Boston/Portland-based level II authorized Ashtanga yoga teacher. He began practice in 1996. He studied in Mysore with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in 1998 and has continued to study the method with his grandson and lineage holder Sharathji Jois. He continues his work as a student of Zen meditation and has been practicing that method for over 25 years.
